Christmas Kindness Week was a lovely week of fun, thoughtfulness and generosity in Aughrim NS. Beautiful Christmas cards were made, sent and thankfully received by many important members of our extended community. A hugely generous food appeal for St. Vincent De Paul was delivered to the Elphin Branch along with a donation of 190 euro, gathered by the children in the poor box this term. Thank you cards were sent to members of the community, including our wonderful postman Donal and Secret Santa on Thursday provided great excitement. Again, parents, pupils and staff were extremely generous. A Christmas movie with hot chocolate and marshmallows was enjoyed by all on Friday afternoon.
