Rose Morris
Thursday was World Book Day. Rose Morris, former teacher and an author came to visit the children in the Senior Room. She recently wrote a children’s book called The Splendifirous Tale of Ferdinand Fox about a fox with the mark of a barque under his left eye who has an important message. Rose Morris talked about how she came to write the book and read a few pages of it. The children asked her questions such as “What gave you the idea to write about this book?” and “How long have you wanted to be a writer for?” Rose stayed for an hour and left a copy of her book with us. We all enjoyed her visit very much.

World Book Day
Yesterday (Thursday 3rd March 2016) was World Book Day and we all dressed up as our favorite characters from books. There were some Cats in the Hat, Gangsta Grannies, Where is Wally, Little Red Riding Hood and many more fantastic characters in school for the day. Rose Morris came to talk to us about her book and Ms Grogan organised a Library Scavenger hunt. The photos of the day are in the gallery. We had a great day.
