Last week we started football training with trainer Peter. We do lot of skills such as soloing, hand passing, kicking etc. Training for the junior room is from one to two and the senior room is from two to three.

Baking                                                                                                                                                                           For baking we are put into five groups and each week a different group does baking . This week we made brown scones.

Maths Week is coming up from the 14th to the 19th of October. Everyone is looking forward to guess the jar and maths buddies. this year we will be making a maths game, so that both the Junior room and the senior room can enjoy playing with them. For the month of October we will be doing maths buddies, so we will be doing card games together on a Tuesday.

Aoibhe has been minding our Artist of the Month Board and did some research about Leonardo Da Vinci for September.  Have a look! Leonardo Da Vinci  was born and brought up in a small town in Italy called Vinci. He was interested in science and engineering as well as doing art. He spent years painting the Mona Lisa.

We started swimming last  week. We go by bus to and from  the pool. When we get there we are split up into four groups. We leave at 11 o’clock and are back at around one .

We have been back to school for two weeks now, and so far everyone is settling in well. The school has been painted, and it is looking lovely, both on the inside and the outside. The six new Junior infants, Evan, Riley, Blathnaid, Eoin, Eimear  and Keira, are all settled in. Maths Week is coming up soon, and football training is starting with Peter next week.
