This week the book fair came to our school. We all had fun looking at and buying the books. There was €634 worth of books bought in total. This means we get €380 worth of books for the school. Thank you to everyone who supported the book fair.

We were delighted to welcome Eva and Rebecca from Barrettstown to school on Friday last. The girls came and told us about the work of Barrettstown. We played lots of games and activities and had great fun with the girls. It was abreast way to spend a Friday evening and and added birthday bonus for birthday boy Seamus! This week is Catholic Schools Week and during the week we were thinking especially about being kind to each other and trying to fill a cup full of kindness! There is a kindness altar in school so we can write notes about how we are being very kind people or pick up a suggestion for an act of kindness. The Senior room also made St. Brigid’s crosses on Monday to mark St. Brigid’s Day.
